About the API

A note on the GWOSC API

The GWOSC API (v2) is public, CORS-enabled, and requires no authentication. It is accessed with standard GET requests and returns event and catalog metadata in machine-readable form.

GWOSC provides downloadable data and an API — it does not offer real-time webhooks. For time-sensitive public alerts, see the LVK public alert stream on GraceDB.
